BOARDING
Barkers Boarding is a home from home service.
​
During the week you dog will have the full daycare package and then cosy up on an armchair, sofa, dog bed, carpeted floor or wherever takes their fancy!
A dogs stay in my home is something I take great pride in to ensure their comfort and relaxation.
Over the weekend the walks will normally be held locally (Richmond Park, Wimbledon common, Putney)
Weather permitting dogs are welcome to come with me if I visit the coast for a hike.
Please note weekend drop off/pick up is not available.

If you are wishing to book 'just for the weekend' please note Sat & Sun overnight charge is £30 each instead of the normal £15 overnight charge

TRAINING
1-2-1 Training Sessions with owner(s), their dog and Anya

Barkers understand that every dog is unique which is why these sessions are flexible and tailored to your furry friend's needs.
​
Sessions typically take place Fridays (with Saturday options available upon request) and start at £100 for one hour.
Barkers prefers to hold sessions in your local dog walk park and at home to help your dog be comfortable in their environment.
Communication over What's app message or call is available with Anya for any questions from session 1.
If you have any questions about creating a reprogramming package for unwanted behaviours, please don't hesitate to reach out.
For owners seeking a refresher, Zoom calls are also available at a lower cost after completing the in-person sessions.

OUR STORY
Barkers Dog Behaviourists was founded by
Anya Barker who has been working with dogs since 2022. Before then, she was an Interior Designer in London - but always had a burning passion for dogs.
A bit about Anya:
I Founded BARKERS in January 2024 after my years of experience and seeing far too many dogs in daycare not getting the correct stimulation and care for the breed that they are. I wanted to keep my goals small so the attention stayed where it was supposed to - ON THE DOGS!
So I set out to create a boutique South-West London daycare opportunity for dogs to experience; monitored socialising, obedience training, mental stimulation, physical exercise, and exposure to woodlands for those incredibly important 'sniffaris' that our 4 legged friends need and ultimately a Home away from Home where the dogs can feel safe and satisfied with the schedule of the day.
At Barkers, all breeds and sizes are welcome (however sadly Barkers does not take on dogs younger than 1). In my experience, I’ve handled a huge range of dogs with different care requirements so I am always keen to help fit any dog into the pack of the day so they may reach their full potential of enrichment.
I can say with confidence that taking care of an animal requires flexibility and adaptability - because every dog is different. This approach is the key ingredient to a tailored care package from Barkers.
